Culinary Transportation Driver

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Culinary Transportation Driver is responsible for the transporting and maintaining food products on and off property. This position is also responsible for the safe transporting of kitchen equipment under the supervision of Food & Beverage Chefs.


FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort and Casino.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Lift and load food product and/or equipment up to 120 lbs.
•Fill and carry food product up to 100 lbs.
•Deliver food supplies to food outlets throughout the property.
•Transport equipment throughout the property.
•Maintain the cleanliness of the exterior and interior of the vehicle.
•Push/pull food product/equipment up to 400lbs.
•Other duties as assigned


ACCOUNTABILITY: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.


EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: A High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred to successfully perform this job.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. This position also requires the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Furthermore, this position also requires the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This position also requires the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


REASONING ABILITY: This position requires the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. This position also require the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
•Food Handler’s or equivalent Food safety/health card.
•Valid California Drivers License


SKILLS/ABILITIES: N/A


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
•Provide DMV-H6 print out.
•No moving violations or accidents within the last 2 years.
•Qualify to obtain a Class “B” gaming license.
