Journey Attendant Cashier-PT

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Journey Cashier is responsible for the courteous and prompt service of food and beverage to deliver an optimum guest experience. This position also maintains supply stock and ensures cleanliness of work areas according to Pechanga Resort Casino’s (PRC) standards.

FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by PRC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Follows the Food & Beverage Service Mission when interacting with guests.
• Successfully completes each step of the Service Guaranty’s when assisting guests.
• Works as a team player and may be cross-trained based on business needs.
• Responsible for taking the guest’s orders, placing it in micros and collecting the payment.
• Operates golf cart to take and/or deliver guest’s orders while strictly adhering to safety guidelines.
• Displays knowledge of food and beverage served in the outlet including ingredients and preparation.
• Exhibits accurate knowledge of food and beverage pricing.
• Generate and serve all drink orders in a timely manor with respect to presentation and ABC regulations.
• Follows all proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures for food handling.
• Sets and clears tables and chairs according to outlet standards.
• Re-stock silverware, condiments, glasses, ice and other related items.
• Responsible for daily alcohol breakage and inventory.
• Ensures safe working environment by reporting unsafe conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

ACCOUNTABILITY: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. The Team Member is responsible for protecting the assets of PRC.

QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: A High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least 1-year experience is preferred to successfully perform this job
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position requires the ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. This position also requires the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This position also requires the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: This position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. This position also requires the ability to work with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Class “A” gaming license.
• Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Food Handlers Certificate.
• Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Tips Certification.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Must be flexible and willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
