Room Service Beverage Porter
Restock and clean Mini bars in our Hotel Rooms in an efficient and timely manner. Display courteous, prompt and knowledgeable service while in contact with any guest to ensure the total satisfaction of our guests’ experience. Cooperate with and assist coworkers in achieving all goals of the department. Follow all appropriate policies and procedures of the department and Pechanga Resort and Casino, while striving to improve the overall standard of our operation and service. FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort and Casino.
• Restock all assigned Mini bars.
• Produce accurate reports to determine status of Mini bars.
• Set up Mini Bar cart with all food and beverage product necessary to restock Mini bars.
• Clean all Mini Bars inside and out when restocking.
• Order all required Mini Bar product and place it in inventory storage on arrival.
• Complete all assigned Front Desk requests from hotel guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area on a constant basis.
• Maintain all daily and monthly records of rotation.
• Other duties as assigned
ACCOUNTABILITY: The Room Service Beverage Porter does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: A High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and no prior experience or training is required to successfully perform this job.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position requires the ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. This position has the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This position also requires the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: This position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. This position also requires the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Class “B” gaming license.
• Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Food Handlers Certificate.
• Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Tips Certification.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Ability to learn basic software programs used by the Room Service Department.
• Show a friendly, outgoing personality at all times.
• Demonstrate both the ability and desire to fulfill all guest requests and needs.
• Possess the temperament to remain calm and courteous in stressful situations.
