Coveside Grill Supervisor

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Coveside Grill Supervisor oversees the daily operation of all service offered at the Coveside Grill. The supervisor will work with the Team members to assist the team throughout their shift and communicate to the leadership team in the area. They will be responsible for ensuring Four Diamond guest service in accordance with departmental service standards. The Supervisor will be expected to enforce Pechanga Resort Casino (PRC) policies and procedures.

FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by PRC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Present a professional manner at all times including uniform standards, appearance and always with a warm welcoming smile.
• Ensure all voids and Manager Adjustments are completed daily.
• Take a daily inventory and place orders in the system for products.
• Select, schedule, and evaluate all Team Members.
• Ensure that proper guest service is maintained at all times.
• Responsible for maintaining proper staffing levels at all times.
• Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures for food handling.
• Communicate with other departments.
• Ensure all Team Members are abiding by all liquor laws and policies set forth by PRC.
• Assist with Beverage floor and Journey’s Shack when need.
• Other duties as assigned.


ACCOUNTABILITY:
The Coveside Grill Supervisor has supervisory responsibilities including departmental corrective action and Team Member relation issues. The Team Member is responsible for protecting the assets of PRC.

QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: A High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least two (2) years’ relative experience, six (6) months in a supervisory capacity required to successfully perform this job.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. This position also requires the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Furthermore, this position also requires the ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or Team Members of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This position also requires the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY: This position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. This position also requires the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Class “A” gaming license.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft office, experience with Micros POS is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive material.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with Team Members and guests.
• Must be flexible and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
