F&B Bartender

GENERAL SUMMARY
Ensures courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable service of food and beverage to ensure total satisfaction of guest experience. Cooperates and assists coworkers in achieving goals of outlet. Follows all appropriate policies and procedures of outlet while striving to improve standards of operation. Display 4 Diamond service guest service at all times. Be able to communicate with guests in a genuine and friendly manner to build relationships and gain repeat business. Must be honest and have high work ethics and integrity

FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort Casino (PRC).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Demonstrate proper knowledge of all liquor laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all PRC drink recipes.
• Displays knowledge of proper cocktail and wine service and handling, garnishing, and serving of all beverages.
• Assists guests in a friendly and professional manner at all times and is able to meet guest’s needs.
• Cash out all guest checks and maintain and balance a drawer on a daily basis.
• Always works as a team player and is capable of being cross trained.
• Capable of working in a safe and clean manner and reports any unsafe conditions to management.
• Adheres to all of PRC rules and policies as listed in Team Member hand book.
• Follow directions and perform side work as assigned by management.
• Safeguard the assets of Pechanga Resort Casino.
• Have interest and knowledge of Golf.
• Other duties as assigned.

ACCOUNTABILITY: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. The Team Member is responsible for protecting the assets of PRC.

QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: At least 2 years’ relative experience is preferred to successfully perform this job.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position requires ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. This position also requires the ability to write simple correspondence. Furthermore, this position also requires the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other Team Members of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic Skills: This position requires ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This position also requires the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: This position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. This position also requires the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Class “A” gaming license.
• Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Food Handlers Certificate.
• Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Tips Certification.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Ability to multitask in a changing environment while maintaining a positive attitude and 4 diamond guest service at all times.
