EVS Utility Crew Supervisor

GENERAL SUMMARY
The EVS Utility Crew Supervisor oversees the cleaning of all areas that regular EVS is unable to reach or clean without the use ladders or platforms more than 3 steps (High areas). The Utility Crew Supervisor is also responsible for overseeing the cleanness of all carpets, chairs, and card tables and will use pressure washers or any other equipment required to complete any projects.

FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort Casino.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise the day to day workload and operation of the Utility team.
• Supervises the cleaning and shampooing of all carpets.
• Ability to handle all Team Members problems or questions.
• Insures that all machines are working properly.
• Schedule area duties that need attention on a daily basis.
• Oversees the stocking of all incoming supplies.
• Ensures that all flooring, carpet, and hard surfaces are maintained.
• Respond to all problem calls.
• Identify and procure all necessary supplies for crew.
• Other duties as assigned.

ACCOUNTABILITY: The EVS Utility Crew Supervisor has authority to make valuable suggestions or recommendations as to departmental hiring, performance reviews, corrective action, terminations, and team member relation issues. The Team Member is responsible for protecting the assets of PRC.

QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: A High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and three to five years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred to successfully perform this job.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position requires the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. This position also requires the ability to write simple correspondence, as well as, the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This position also requires the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY: This position requires the ability to solve practical problems and work with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. This position also requires the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Must qualify to obtain and maintain a class “A” gaming license.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Ability to speak English fluently
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Knowledge of carpeting and hard surfaces, technical training preferred
• Ability to repair most carpet cleaning equipment
• Ability to use, distinguish and know the use of most maintenance tools
• Medium to heavy lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Knowledge of shampoo machine, buffing machine, vacuum cleaners, electric staple gun, sewing machine, carpet plug and all electric power tools
• Must be a self-starter who is highly motivated and resourceful.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced and culturally diverse casino environment.
• Must have a pleasant personality and present a professional image when assisting players.
• Must be able to take direction and follow through with assigned tasks.
• Must be flexible and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
