Beverage Cocktail Server Trainer
GENERAL SUMMARY
Provide Beverage training service to our cocktail servers in accordance with PR&C standards FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT All Team Members/Cocktail Server trainers will display a Four Diamond commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort and Casino. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AS A TRAINER • Present a professional manner at all times including uniform standards, appearance and always with a warm welcoming smile. • Be able to treat and offer service to our guest with five Diamond attitude and respect. • Have the knowledge of all drinks pricing and alcohol that we carry on property. • Be able to train cocktail servers and inform our servers of what is expected of them to be a cocktail server • Train servers to be able to receive and distribute beverage requests in scheduled area in a timely manner • Training understanding our floor placement and adequate round times. • Train the proper procedure of working on table games. • Train proper procedure of cleaning and removing ashtrays while working table games. • Train proper procedure of keeping your assigned work area clean at all times. • Train our FIFO procedure: Full Tray In Full Tray Out • Communicate with management regarding any area in need of special attention to better facilitate excellent guest service • Train how to properly and accurately input drink orders and how payment is collected • Retrieve and return all glassware, napkins, empty water bottle, everything you take out and deliver to your guest is your responsibility to remove from your section and place into the trash. • Train our servers to clean and stock service area; as well as be able to advise bar backs when supplies are low • Verify micros receipt to ensure accuracy • Train and understand and be able to abide by all liquor laws and policies set forth by PR&C. • All other job related duties as assigned ACCOUNTABILITY: The Beverage Cocktail Server Trainer position does not have supervisory responsibilities. ________________________________________ QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES ________________________________________ EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: A High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required to successfully perform this job. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. This position also requires the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Furthermore, this position also requires the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This position also requires the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: This position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. This position also requires the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
