Coveside Grill Beverage Bartender Lead

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Coveside Bartender Lead will provide Bartender training service to our bartenders in accordance with Pechanga Resort Casino standards. This position will serve as an informal liaison between line staff and management; providing support to line staff in the performance of their duties. Provide supplies and stock necessary to the operation (through warehouse or other providers). This Coveside Bartender lead will also provide friendly, prompt, courteous guest service by accurately generating all drink orders in a timely manner with respect to liquor control and presentation. The Coveside Cocktail Bartender Lead will also perform the duties of a Coveside Cocktail Bartender.

FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by PRC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AS A TRAINER
• Present a professional manner at all times including uniform standards, appearance and always with a warm welcoming smile.
• Ensure all voids and Manager Adjustments are completed daily.
• Verify Bartender tips.
• Access to keys to lock and unlock coolers.
• Be able to treat and offer service to our guest with five Diamond attitude and respect.
• Have the knowledge of all drinks pricing, alcohol, and cocktail recipes that we carry on property.
• Be able to train bartenders and inform our bartenders of what is expected of them to be a Pechanga Bartender.
• Train bartenders to be able to receive and prepare beverage requests in scheduled area in a timely manner.
• Training understanding our bar placement and adequate preparation times.
• Train the proper procedure of working each bar on the Coveside Grill, Casino floor, Comedy Club and Eagles Nest.
• Train proper procedure of keeping your assigned work area clean at all times.
• Communicate with management regarding any area in need of special attention to better facilitate excellent guest service.
• Train how to properly and accurately input drink orders and how payment is collected.
• Train our bartenders to clean and stock service area; as well as be able to advise bar backs when supplies are low.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar countertop and assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the entire designated bar area.
• Demonstrate proper knowledge of all liquor laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all PRC drink recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar countertop and area throughout duration of shift.
• Adhere to cash handling and operating policies in accordance to PRC handbook.
• Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures for food handling.
• Abide by all liquor laws and policies set forth by PRC.
• Verify micros receipt to ensure accuracy.
• Ability to understand and train Team Members to abide by all liquor laws and policies set forth by PRC.
• Other duties as assigned.

ACCOUNTABILITY: The Coveside Bartender Lead will assist and provide support with daily supervisory responsibilities. The Team Member is responsible for protecting the assets of PRC.

QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES
________________________________________

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: A High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required to successfully perform this job.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. This position also requires the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Furthermore, this position also requires the ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or Team Members of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This position also requires the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: This position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. This position also requires the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Must qualify to obtain and maintain a class “A” gaming license.
• Must complete the California ABC RBS Certification.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Proficient with POS.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and patrons.
• Possess fluent English speaking, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Knowledge of Food Safety.
• Responsible Beverage Service.
• Must be flexible and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
