In this position you will ensure proper securing of building for fumigation purposes and safe return.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspect infested building to identify infestation-causing damage and to determine treatment, if necessary.
Examine porosity of walls and roof to determine method of sealing building.
Measure inside dimensions and calculate volume of fumigant required.
Enclose building with tarpaulin, sealing off all open spaces and closing all building vents.
Post warning signs and padlock doors.
Remove tarpaulin and clean up property after fumigation.
Complete necessary paperwork and government reports as required.
Maintain vehicle and equipment in clean and properly operating condition.
Maintain a safe driving record.
Inspect/supervise fumigation helper’s work to ensure that work is properly performed.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state or local regulations.
Valid driver’s license.
