ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Inspect infested building to identify infestation-causing damage and to determine treatment, if necessary.
* Examine porosity of walls and roof to determine method of sealing building.
* Measure inside dimensions and calculate volume of fumigant required.
* Enclose building with tarpaulin, sealing off all open spaces and closing all building vents.
* Post warning signs and padlock doors.
* Remove tarpaulin and clean up property after fumigation.
* Complete necessary paperwork and government reports as required.
* Maintain vehicle and equipment in clean and properly operating condition.
* Maintain a safe driving record.
* Inspect/supervise fumigation helper’s work to ensure that work is properly performed.
* Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
* Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
* Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state or local regulations.
* Valid driver’s license.
