DAIRY/FROZEN FOOD CLERKS insure that excellent customer service and departmental operations are maintained throughout the Dairy/Frozen Food department. The Dairy/Frozen Food Clerk provides polite, friendly service to all customers; stocks, rotates, and conditions all dairy/frozen products according to Lowes Foods standards and productivity guidelines; and maintains a neat and safe work area to allow customers to shop. A Dairy/Frozen Food Clerk should uphold all sanitation standards throughout the department and follow procedures to minimize damage and shrink of product. Other duties include maintaining organized, inventoried back stock; assisting with the unloading and verifying of delivered merchandise; maintaining organized paperwork associated with ordering and stock loss; and performing other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS: • Friendly, outgoing personality • Ability to work well with others • Ability to lift 60 lbs. occasionally and 40 lbs. constantly • Ability to read and understand information and direction • Knowledge of dairy/frozen food operations • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job • Effective communication and customer service skills • May be subject to temperature fluctuations that come from working in and around the dairy/frozen department • Ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull stock carts and operate pallet jack for extended periods of time
