Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist

General Job Description Purpose:
The purpose of this job description is to communicate the responsibilities and duties associated with the position of Digital Marketing Specialist. It should also be noted that some responsibilities and duties might not be specifically addressed.
General Position Summary:
Digital Marketing Specialist will spearhead in-house design for a branded group of apartment communities nationwide. This position will work with the Senior Marketing Director to create a strong brand and promote brand initiatives cohesively while still differentiating them.
Essential Duties:
- Web Design and Development
- Build out individual community websites
- Update/maintain corporate website for brand
- Oversee integration efforts of new technologies
- SEO/SEM
- Monitoring of Google Analytics and ability to adapt as needed
- Creation of PPC Campaigns that include Offensive, Defensive, Remarketing Ads
- Design Initiatives – Digital and Print
- Ensure timely deliverables of permanent printed community collateral
- Development of HTML email templates for use of onsite teams
- Semiannual promotional item selection and ordering
- Social Media/Reputation
- Manage social presence and develop/execute programs to ensure in-market brand recognition and reputation
Education, Knowledge, Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalist, or related field required
- 2+ years of digital marketing experience
- Knowledge of Multifamily/Real Estate business preferred
- Agency experience a plus
- Project management experience a plus
- CRM experience necessary
- Google Ad Words experience necessary
- Google Analytics experience necessary
- Paid social campaigns experience necessary
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage different projects at the same time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills providing for effective communication with employees, peers, vendors, clients and supervisors.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (building team, influencing culture, informing employees, consulting with managers and employees)
- Computer software experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
Work Environment/Requirements:
Work in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, and walking are occasionally required. Talking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity are frequently required. Keying data is repetitive motion and is frequently required.
