Your Responsibilities / Activities:
• Perform proactive monitoring to minimize service disruptions and impact to end users
• Triage incoming data to determine risk level and required resolution
• Provide incident documentation for incident trending and root cause/post-mortem analysis
• Triage, document, assign, and follow-up of server and network issues and outages
• Timely escalation of service interruptions
• Develop new processes to improve monitoring functions and effectiveness
• Collaborate with all Business Innovation teams as required to resolve issues and communicate outages
• Provide weekend support on rotation with other team members
• Exhibit a positive, solution-oriented attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills and client relationship skills
• Proficient in effectively managing own time, workload and schedule
• Assist in knowledge sharing within the team, and create and/or update knowledge base articles

• Support multiple technical teams in environment operational environments with high uptime requirements.
• Perform other duties as needed, and as directed by supervisor

Your education, experience & skills which makes You The One:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience supporting and monitoring network systems, servers or storage in an enterprise environment. Previous NOC experience is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of key network monitoring protocols including SNMP, NetFlow, WMI, syslog, etc.
• Knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems and Cisco network devices
• Organized, reliable and highly dedicated
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• Ability to analyze, prioritize, and solve problems in a timely manner
• Strong attention to detail
Would be good if You also have:
• Previous experience as a dedicated monitoring position
• Basic Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications (CCNA, MCITP, etc.)
• Experience monitoring VMWare clusters in high-availability environments
• Broad experience using a variety of monitoring and ticket management tools
• Experience providing remote support using virtual desktop tools
