SUMMARY:
In the Infor Consulting Services - ICS Competence Centre organization, the Consulting Manager reports to the Competence Centre Director & manages a team of consultants with the main focus of the role being utilization & optimization of shared resources.
The CC CM drives billed utilization, knowledge sharing, field-enablement for new product releases, hiring, on-boarding & development of graduate recruits & optimization of scarce resources. The principal KPI’s are billed utilization, product competence & headcount. The CC CM works closely with Regional CMs and Resource Planning.

Duties & Main Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of Consultants with responsibility for team utilization, recruitment, retention, performance evaluation, competence development, coaching & team building.
• Hire, on-board and develop graduate recruits (Green Beans) to move from Associate Consultant to Consultant within 18 months working within common CC processes.
• Achieve team utilization & headcount targets.
• Report & optimize use of bench resources.
• Drive knowledge exchange processes within both the team & across ICS
• Oversee Subject Matter Experts & Technical Solution Architects
• Achieve objectives set by Competence Centre Director.
• Actively contribute to and establish business developments plans with the assigned Region
• Serve as escalation point for Consultant issues and concerns.
• Work closely with Regional Management on capacity planning, resourcing requirements for major projects & resource competence development plans
• Work closely with Resource Planning on scheduling & optimization of resources & staffing of projects
• Be a spokesperson internally and externally to support development and growth of the assigned region
• Manage internal communication to employees.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience (E= Essential, D= Desirable)
• Line management experience of 10 or more employees, preferably in a shared service model (E)
• Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly-changing environment (E)
• Proven ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships with various levels of management (E)
• Experience working with, and or coordinating the efforts of multiple parties (E)
• Experience in software industry or related industry including management experience (E)
• Knowledge of Infor company products and services (E)
• Knowledge of applicable industry terminology and practices (E)
• Ability to manage utilization forecast and reflect a true position (E)
• Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and planning skills (E)
• Excellent understanding of German and English (communication and writing) (E)
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work as a team member (E)
• Professional appearance and presentation (E)
• Experience of successful implementation of large scale software implementation projects (D)
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (D)
• Services delivery experience and strong track record of overachievement on targets (D)
• MS-Office suite and various other software applications used as required (D)

• May required to work additional hours as required
• High levels of stress may occur periodically
• Ability to travel regionally, nationally and internationally as required
