Role Purpose:
You will have a key role in Infor’s Cloud Managed Services (CMS) business development across Europe, contributing to sales processes with design, specification and estimation of managed services and/or private cloud (hosting) solutions. Infor’s CMS portfolio contains the required solution elements to help our customers focus on their business, while Infor takes responsibility to enable and assure a high level of availability, reliability and continuity of their Infor application landscape.
Responsibilities:
o Add value to bid and sales processes by means of design, specification and estimation of managed services and/or private cloud (hosting) solutions, supporting the growth of Infor’s Cloud Managed Services business, in collaboration with managed services and cloud delivery teams, as well as with Infor’s sales force
o Qualification and analysis of service requirements, evaluation of requirements against available delivery capabilities, and translating requirements into comprehensive and competitively priced solutions.
o Participation in customer presentations for new business opportunities, explanation of proposed solutions from a content perspective, in close collaboration with the CMS Client Partner allocated on the opportunity having the commercial responsibility to land the deal.
o Handover of relevant bid process and solution information to the Service Delivery Manager allocated on a new CMS Agreement, to assure the transition project is covering all what is needed to meet the customer’s expectations as were set during the sales process
o Act as a professional advisor to Infor customers regarding best practices and how to configure their Infor managed services and/or private cloud (hosting) solution
o Maintaining standards (e.g. ITIL), promoting compliancy, participate in bid review and approval processes
o Provide regular internal management information/reports when required, and keep required system content/data updated
o Taking responsibility for personal development
Skills, experience and attributes required:
o Bachelor’s degree in IT or Information Management, or equivalent
o Languages, Fluency in English and a second West-European language
o Work permit if required
o Strong organizational skills & time management skills, comfortable with deadlines
o Strong oral and written communication that effectively articulates complex ideas
o Ability to work independently, reliable in virtual team participation, self-motivated
o Team player with the ability to build strong peer and interpersonal relationships
o Willingness to travel (estimated 20% to 30% of the time, depending actual list of opportunities) across the region as required.
