POSITION SUMMARY:
Support project manager in execution of cloud and on premise software implementation projects. Support the daily operations of PMO including but not limited to facilitation of weekly portfolio status reporting cadence processes, identification, escalation, and follow-through of critical and high priority project issues and risks, and support Project Manager with the design and implementation of PMO process improvement related projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Facilitate collection of weekly Application Development and Infrastructure status reports
· Update weekly PMO project dashboard and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Consolidate and distribute weekly executive status pack with executive summary/highlights
· Identify critical portfolio issues and risks for management review and action
· Review all project status reports and identify PM discipline opportunities for review with Delivery Managers and Project Managers
· Identify consistent themes for PM discipline continuous improvement opportunities
· Support the implementation of required improvements to weekly portfolio status reporting cadence processes
· Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly processes for project budget forecasting and planning
· Generate and maintain portfolio timelines and Gantt charts including project interdependencies
· Support communications with the Business Innovation PM community
· Support implementation of standard project stakeholder communications
· Support Head of PMO with project reviews and remediation efforts
· Support the generation and implementation of project management methods and standards
· Conduct required activities to support PMO resource management plan
· Support project teams with project initiation and planning activities
· Facilitate discussions with project stakeholders to define all project tasks and resource needs
· Monitor progress of projects across the portfolio
· Identify portfolio level issues and risks
· Identify and support the management of interdependencies between projects across the portfolio
· Support project teams in documenting and implementing lessons learned
· Provide level 2 support for TrackerSuite project management and time tracking tool
· Support the generation and tracking of PMO performance metrics
· Ensure company standards and policies are followed
EDUCATIONAL/SKILL/EXPERIENCE PREFERENCES:
· 4-year college degree or related experience
· 2+ years of experience as a project coordinator and/or Project Manager for small and medium sized projects
· Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
· Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to interact with personnel in multiple business roles
· Excellent English and German verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills
· Ability to work independently in a global setting including multiple cultures, time zones and potential language barriers
· Formal Project Management Training or equivalent work experience
· Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, and Visio
Preferred Qualifications:
· Industry Certification (PMP, Prince2) in Project Management a plus
· Experience with Automation Centre TrackerSuite a plus
