The Infor BI and Performance Management (BI + d/EPM) Division is looking to enhance its team across the board and is currently looking to recruit an experienced Consultant with the knowledge of designing and implementing BI + d/EPM based solutions. The role requires you to be able work at all stages in the project life-cycle including hands-on application design and development. This is a client facing role and you will need excellent communication skills. In terms of development, you will be responsible for specifying, designing and implementing solutions.
While the role is predominantly home based you will have to have the flexibility to travel to client sites and work away from home as needed. You will need to be able understanding accounting well and understand financial requirements and translate into technical implementation.
Duties and responsibilities
• In-depth experience and understanding of reporting strategies, Report and UI Design.
• Designing and Implementing Infor BI and Infor d/EPM Solutions within in Infor Clients. Depending on size and scale of project, you may also need to take a leading role in the implementation.
• Create and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Consult with customers on business process improvements, challenging established paradigms.
• Maintain the vision for the solution through the implementation.
• Manage in conjunction with the appointed Infor Project Manager hands-on engagements to help clients successfully execute testing and move to deployment readiness.
• Be prepared to troubleshoot performance, scale and availability issues for integrated solutions including debugging production problems, if the situation arises.
• Assist in design and delivery of on-site and/or web-based training for both customers and Infor consultants. (future responsibility).
Essential Skills
• Implementation of Management Dashboards, Standard reports, Planning and Forecast Applications considering Design Principals (eg. Hichert, International Business Communication Standards (IBCS®) and technical feasibility. Very strong knowledge of Performance Management Applications (EPM), OLAP solutions (Infor/Hyperion/IBM or other similar software).
• Experience in a client facing, consultative role.
• Experience of several full project life-cycle implementations.
• Excellent communication (English + native language oral and written) and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team but also self-motivated.
• Excellent problem solving and analytic skills.
Knowledge of some of the following would be highly desirable:
• ERP and Accounting Systems, e.g. Infor M3, LN, Syteline, System 21, SAP
