Account Manager (m/f) LN New Biz

Role Purpose
To develop and implement strategies to generate revenue of new business. The Account Manager is expected to manage all opportunities into the designated customer for new business for the specified geography. Develop a solution strategy that will generate new Licence, Service and Support revenue for Infor. In a short space of time, Infor has grown quickly to becoming one of the largest enterprise software vendors. With over 70,000 customers and 116 direct offices globally, Infor is the third largest ERP vendor.

Purpose:
To develop and implement strategies to generate revenue of new business. The Account Manager is expected to manage all opportunities into the designated customer for new business for the specified geography in Germany. Develop a solution strategy that will generate new Licence, Service and Support revenue for Infor.

Duties and responsibilities:
1. Meet or exceed Licence Targets
2. Prospecting for opportunities for new business
3. Understand and articulate the value proposition of our solutions.
4. Work with Marketing, Telemarketing and Inside Sales to drive business
5. The role will be office/home based and onsite with customers/prospects
6. International travel maybe occasionally required
7. Disseminate Product information to prospects/customers as necessary

All of the above to be in line with company procedure and performance standards.

Person Specification:
1. Degree qualification or MBA
2. Proven Track record in sales in selling ERP
3. Ability to sell at all levels within the business
4. Account Manager that can be self-sufficient ie self-starter
5. Ability to work in a matrix organisation
6. Ability to work with internal systems and to maintain an accurate forecast online
7. Well organised and self-directed, strong team player/contributor
8. Fluent in German & English (verbally and written)
