As a senior engineer, you will have the opportunity to mentor the team (people working on the module) on technology concepts and the sapient way and best practices for design, implementation and other processes.
Responsibilities
-You may be assigned to develop utilities and/or product features
-You may be assigned to lead the development of the product features
-You may be assigned to debug and/or fix QA-reported problems
-You may conduct testing and create test cases for the software modules you will eventually own
-You will participate in a multitude of activities to hone your software engineering skills
-You will learn and practice state-of-the-art product development process
Requirements
-Full time Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (Computer Science or related major)
-At least 7 years software development working experience
-4-6 years software design experience
-Strong development skills in Java/J2EE
-Strong experience with Java Swing
-Experience with GWT would be a plus
-Strong in software development process
-Strong OO design skills/implementation of design patterns
-Strong work ethic and team attitude
-Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and finding solutions
-Good verbal and written English communication skills
