Role Purpose
This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced business development practitioner to join Infor at a time of unprecedented growth and opportunity. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in introducing the Infor product portfolio to medium/large multi-site enterprise here in the UK and parts of Europe. The main focus will be selling Infor’s Office of the CFO solution stack. With a background in either – Finance Systems or ERP you will be able to leverage your knowledge to build out existing named accounts as well as have a strong focus on new business development.
Candidate Profile
Good understanding of a broad range of industry verticals including:
§ Understanding a company’s overall business strategy
§ The process used by executive management to delivery on strategy
§ The identification of issues and challenges which inhibit the delivery of strategy
§ Understanding of core business processes and ability to discuss process improvement
§ Ability to map key executive and process owners to specific business process areas
§ How to position technology as an enabler of business process improvement
§ Understanding of the impact of technology on business and process change
§ And the ability to tie a value and technology proposition to the above
Good understanding of the broad technology landscape deployed across a global enterprise, including:
§ Finance systems, ERP. EAM and Budgeting/Forecasting
§ BI and technology integration platforms
Demonstrate a clear understanding of a complex major account sales process, including
§ Account planning and management
§ Territory and opportunity development
§ Lead generation
§ Needs analysis and creating a value propositions
§ Ability to sell value to the CXO and business process improvement to middle management
§ Use of systems and forecasting are important.
