In this position you will select, train and direct employees within the branch in order to achieve budgeted goals in the areas of sales, service, collections and expense control.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruit, interview, hire and train the branch sales staff, service department and bookkeeping employees.
Direct, monitor and motivate the branch sales staff to increase the customer base.
Coordinate and direct the branch service department to service al customers.
Supervise the branch bookkeeping employees in the areas of data entry, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Monitor and control expenses.
Plan, organize and inspect activities of termite control technicians.
Handle complaint problems.
Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Appropriate state certifications pertaining to pest control.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Basic understanding of Internet and e-mail processes, software applications, and basic computer hardware.
