Management Team

Gabriel Goncalves, President and CEO
Gabriel Goncalves has a proven track record in the technology
arena for identifying market opportunities, bringing together
solid management teams and driving success. Goncalves is a
co-founder of HomeTracker (www.hometracker.com),
a successful asset management software company. HomeTracker's
software manages tens of thousands of properties in real estate
portfolios worth billions of dollars. Goncalves also founded,
built and sold Erapmus, Inc., a professional services firm
which provided outsourced network services nationwide. Erapmus
did extensive network integration for the telecom industry,
helping companies such as WorldCom, PrimeCo, and McLeodUSA
to quickly deploy computer networks across the country. Goncalves
served on the international board of the Young Entrepreneurs
Organization (YEO), where he is currently an active member. Goncalves has a
Computer Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Mark Ellis,
Chief Technology Officer
Mark Ellis has a proven track record of leading the development of complex e-commerce
systems. Grounded on the fundamentals of complex systems development at
MIT,
Ellis has the experience of architecting and implementing complex, scalable web-based
systems. Prior to PeopleAnswers, Ellis was the VP of Engineering at Service Lane,
where he led that company's web-based development efforts. Ellis has a B. S.
in Computer Science and Applied Math from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Jason Taylor, Ph.D.,
Chief Science Officer
Jason
Taylor has a proven track record of developing, implementing,
and validating Industrial/Organizational psychology-based
leadership
processes in such areas as employee selection, soft skills
training, executive coaching, and process refinement.
Taylor has the practical knowledge of having been part of
the prior development
of several artificial intelligence assessment systems. He
comes
to PeopleAnswers from Q-Hire, where he served as their VP of
Development. Dr. Taylor has a Ph.D. in Leadership Education
and Development from Texas A&M University.
Ira
Grossman, Vice President Operations
Ira Grossman has a proven track record providing operational
excellence in technology-focused businesses. Grossman’s
career has been centered on the application of quantitative
methods to enhance the performance of client systems. Before
joining PeopleAnswers, Grossman founded and developed two
technology companies. He was President of Emergeon, LLC, a
professional services firm specializing in metrics-based
solutions to simulate and predict on-target software
delivery for its clients in the financial services sector.
Prior to Emergeon, Grossman was President and COO of QSM
Associates, Inc. QSM (Quantitative Software Management)
specialized in software productivity management, metrics,
and lifecycle modeling with an extensive list of Fortune 500
clients. Grossman is a passionate entrepreneur and serves as
a board member of the World Entrepreneurs Organization and a
founding partner of the Tech Valley Angel Network, a
resource to link entrepreneurs with investors throughout New
York and New England. He sits on the board of several
not-for-profit community organizations, and holds a degree
in Computer Science from the City University of New York. |

David Matthews
David Matthews is currently a partner at Red
River Ventures. Mr. Matthews co-founded and served as the
CFO of Intelecon Services, Inc., an audio-visual technology
company that he helped grow to over $20 Million in revenues.
Mr. Matthews has served on the boards of directors of several
companies, including Scottish Annuity & Life Holdings
Ltd. (NASDAQ: SCOT), a publicly-held company based in the
Cayman Islands.
Jeff Smith
Jeff Smith is the founder and CTO of SensorLogic, a technology
company enabling wireless sensors. Previously, Mr. Smith founded
OnRamp Technologies, a successful Internet Service Provider later
sold to Verio. Mr. Smith served as a board member and regional
president to Verio until it was sold to NTT of Japan for $5 billion.
Ray Balestri
Ray Balestri is a corporate attorney specializing in high
tech companies. Previously, Mr. Balestri worked as a tax, corporate
and securities attorney at the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss,
Hauer & Feld. Mr. Balestri received his Juris Doctor degree
from Harvard Law School. Mr. Balestri is also an adjunct professor
at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University
in Dallas. |
